Molto comune, soprattutto nel parlato è let’s, che sarebbe la contrazione di let us, seguito da un verbo.
Viene usato per fare delle proposte o suggerire qualcosa e prende il significato del verbo a cui si accompagna.
Letteralmente il significato di let us sarebbe ‘permettiamo a noi stessi di …’.
C’è un’esortazione a fare qualcosa.
