1)
- Barista: Hello sir, are you being served?
Salve signore, la stanno già servendo?
- Cliente: No, can I have a Coke please?

- Barista: Sure. Small or large?

- Cliente: Large, please, no ice.
Grande, per cortesia, senza ghiaccio.
2) Se i clienti sono due:
- Barista: Hi! What can I get you?
Ciao, cosa vi posso portare?
- Cliente: A short black, please.
Un espresso, per cortesia.
- Barista: For you sir?
Per lei, signore?
- Cliente: I’ll have the same, please.
Lo stesso, per favore.

- Cliente: A pint of SA, an orange juice and a Martini dry, please.
Una pinta di SA, un succo d'arancia e un Martini dry, per favore.
- Barista: Here you go!
Ecco a voi!
… (dopo un po’)
- Cliente: Another round of the same, please!
Un altro giro uguale, per favore!
- Barista: Last order guys. It’s almost closing time.
Ultima ordinazione ragazzi. È quasi ora di chiusura.
- Cliente: Come on! Drink up and let’s go.
Dai! Finiamo di bere e andiamo.
4) Se il barista ha dei dubbi sull’età del cliente:
- Cliente: Two half pints of bitter please.
Due mezze pinte di birra rossa per favore.
- Barista: Can I see your ID first?
Posso vedere i vostri documenti prima?
- Cliente: We’ve left them at home.
Li abbiamo lasciati a casa.
- Barista: I’m sorry but I can’t sell you alcohol without a valid proof of age.
Mi dispiace ma non posso vendervi alcolici senza una valida prova della vostra età.
5) Quando il cliente vuole offrire da bere al barista:
- Cliente: So, a jug of lager, a gin and tonic, and a red wine, please.
Quindi, una caraffa di birra, un gin tonic, e un vino rosso, per favore.
- Barista: Is that all?
È tutto?
- Cliente: Yes. And one for yourself. This round is on me.
Sì. E uno per te (qualcosa da bere per te). Questo giro è mio (lo pago io).
- Barista: Thanks a lot!

- Barista: It’s one pound.
