To seem: verbo ‘sembrare’.

Sono possibili due costruzioni con ‘seem’:
1) Una costruzione personale, in cui ‘seem’ è direttamente correlato al soggetto della frase.

2) SOGGETTO + SEEM + AGGETTIVO + TO + PERSONA
£10 for this sandwich seems a little too much to me.
10 Sterline per questo panino mi sembra un po' troppo.
La forma negativa di ‘seem’ si costruisce con l’ausiliare ‘to do’ + not.
He doesn’t seem to be happy.
Non sembra essere felice.
